The staff was very courteous, rooms very beautiful and specious , beautiful British architecture of the property gives unique experience, walls of the hallway are adored with old newspaper articles dating back to 1898 reading them was fascinating experience. Gem Park Ooty holds so very true to its name!!! The spectacular location of the hotel offers unhindered views of the pristine Nilgiris, be it from the rooms , restaurants, lobby or the main porch. The front office team is warm, true ambassadors of the hotel, and epitomizes the genuine warmth and helpfulness of the city, Ooty. They recommended places to visit in and around Ooty and needless to say, all their suggestions were taken on board, and all the places exceeded our expectations. The check in and check out was seamless. All requests were met proficiently and instantly. Thank you team🙏🙏 The dining experience elevated our stay at the hotel. Big compliments to the chefs for creating epicurean dining experiences for guests. What high level of quality and unmatched taste, and above all, consistency. From local South Indian delicacies to North Indian food, every single meal was a surreal experience for us! Highly recommend this gorgeous property if one wants to enjoy Ooty thoroughly, with family and friends. I am definitely visiting Ooty amd Gem Park again!!

We have stayed at Byke Sunshine Grand in Ooty from 3rd to 5th May 2024. In short, the experience was wonderful. Let's dive into the detailed review: Location: It is in a strategic location and the Market is in 15 mins walking distance. Normally other resorts with good views were far from city, but Byke is in reach. Service: All the stuffs were polite, helpful and friendly. They were always eager to help you in case of any issues. View: The room we took was with balcony. The views from the room and the balcony were amazing. I mean you can just sit and gaze into the nature from your bed. Rooms: The room was spacious with proper setup and 24 hours hot water. Most of the needed equipments like electric kettle, hair dryer were available. Food: We had only breakfast here, so can comment only for the breakfast buffet. It was promt with both south and north indian Veg menus. Some items were good in taste, some (juice, vegetable curry) can be better. Price: The rate of the rooms are in higher side. Now higher and lower is totally varies on one's perception. What i am mentioning is that, if you do statistical comparison of all the ooty hotels, the price here is definitely above middle line and near to the top. But good thing is ... You get the service what you paid for. Overall: If you want to go ooty and relax, and if you have the budget, don't think twice. Byke provides good hospitality.

Maintenance with saplings and plants is impressive. Food quality is good and with reasonable prices. Location is awesome. Especially, I liked Elson's (Manager) guidance and response through out the stay. Staff are good with their services and they are too quick. Happy for the continuous Hot water facility.
