We stayed at this hotel because we were looking for a 4 starts hotel near the cliffs, it wasn't easy because most places are 3 stars and less. The hotel is charming, run by a family who really cares about details and guests. Everything was comfortable, the stay was extremely nice, and since the coast of the Ocean is definitely worth visiting, we hit the tide and huge waves of the Atlantic, it was an almost epic experience! A place extremely worth visiting. Very nice stay.

Built in the Georgian period in 1736, Aran View Country House and Lodge stands on a hill on the coast road and commands one of the finest views of the wild Clare coastline. The owner and staff are very personable and helpful. The front rooms have a stunning coastal view and was very comfortable. The hotel were great in coping with food intolerance, and the breakfast menu extensive and food excellent.
