The property is located on top of the city's 15th century main gate, with great cocktail bars and restaurants just down the stairway. The apartment was an eye candy, we appreciated the meticulous design. It is equipped with brand new (and high quality) appliances, tableware and everything you need to feel yourself at home and to prepare a delicious breakfast from the local market's produce (located just a short walk away). The receptionist/administrators were extremely helpful and nice, they also operate a cellar/wine shop stocked with great wine that we also appreciated. Hvar Hrad is a city of stairs and the entrance to this property is no exception; you'll have to conquer a couple of steep stairways on the way to the flats, take it in mind especially when equipped with heavy luggage.

My husband surprised me with this booking for our 1st wedding anniversary so I came with zero expectations and this place was amazing. We were welcomed with some prosecco. And some gifts in the room. The location was perfect! Right in front of a nice beach, but also right around the corner of the city center. The place was spotless and the service was amazing! I will definitely come back! Oh also they were partners with this other hotel and you could use the pool which honestly i wasn't planning on using since the beaches are dreamy but we also checked it out and it was perfect as well!
