The building itself was really nice, more traditional looking, but with well-equipped rooms and really comfortable. Staff was friendly and nice. Check-in was flexible and with very good instructions.

Albergo del Duca offers rooms with free WiFi throughout in Como, 250 metres from Piazza Cavour square. The on-site restaurant serves local cuisine. Central location, 10 min from the train station and 5 min from the ferries. Very clean, comfortable, AC worked very well. Great breakfast, the owners were very welcoming, went out of their way to prepare breakfast before the standard hours, so we can eat before we catch an early train. Very quiet, although it was in a busy street. We loved our 2 nights stay in the junior suite.

This lakefront hotel is a 2-minute walk from the pier in Varenna. The historic 19th-century building features a terrace with panoramic views of Lake Como. I liked the style of the hotel and also the recepcionist was very friendly, she was able to prepare a take away breakfast for us , since we would depart earlier in the next morning. The hotel is very well located. I loved to stay there

I checked in very late and the self check in is very easy
