Located in Sendai and within 1.7 km of Sendai City Community Support Center, Hotel GrandBach Sendai features a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. It was really great. Very clean and nice room, the reception and restaurant are beautiful, quiet place and close to the train station (8min by walk). Very comfy bed.

Matsushima Koumura er með heitan pott og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Það er í innan við 10 km fjarlægð frá Shiogama-helgiskríninu og í 24 km fjarlægð frá Sendai City Community Support Center. We can highly recommend Matsushima Koumura. We stayed 4 nights and were very satisfied with everything. The owners were very nice and welcoming, the house is beautifully decorated and the little onsen perfect. The breakfast we had was very good and tea and coffee free. Everything was also very clean. The location is quiet, yet very close to all the sights in Matsushima.

Offering a fitness centre free of charge, Hotel Metropolitan Sendai East has direct access to Sendai Station. Free WiFi is available in all rooms. Excellent location at Sendai Station that can be reached without going outside if it is raining. Comfortable bed and linens. Clean room with very nice bathroom & excellent shower. Nice view from my single wide room. Friendly, capable staff members worked hard to make my stay easy and convenient.

Tama Hotel er staðsett í Ishinomaki, 37 km frá Shiogama-helgiskríninu og býður upp á gistingu með ókeypis reiðhjólum, ókeypis einkabílastæði og veitingastað. We stayed a night in Ishinomaki in order to tour Cat Island on the following morning. We arrived by train at around 4 pm and it was a pretty easy walk to the hotel. The family room on the first floor was huge - the kids especially loved the massage chair! The manager is a wonderful host and he gave us a tour of the facilities and all the information about the cat island ferry the following morning, including the weather conditions. He also helped our cat-crazy kids hold and feed some of the hotel's feline residents. The hotel has a cat room for those who want to play with cats and/or join for cat dinner time. Best of all, our host drove us to the ferry, helped us pick up some delicious pastries on the way, and then picked us up (with our luggage!) after the ferry to take us directly to the train for our next stop - an AMAZING service. Without their help I don't think we would have caught our train! I absolutely recommend Tama Hotel for anyone who loves cats and/or wants to explore Cat Island and Ishinomaki.

Amazing value, really great location and a very helpful operator who was full of handy recommendations for the area and super welcoming.

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. The staff were incredibly accommodating, their care and attention made our visit relaxed and joyful, the Kaiseki was excellent and well balanced, showcasing local delicacies and providing an excellent view into tradition. Being able to use the Onsen with a tattoo and not having to cover it up was a pleasant surprise, the Onsen was excellent and very clean (I only used the outside pool). We were picked up by their free shuttle bus at the Shinkansen station and dropped off as well. We have to thank all of the staff, but a special mention should be given to Meguro, who took great care of us.

Beautiful view of bay from room and onsen. Excellent service with staff using technology like AI translator to serve you better. Room is thoughtfully furnished with remote control for the lights so that you need not get up from futon. Amenities were great too - hair scrunchie, face care kit etc.
