Enai is located in the forest, on the shore of the Madre de Dios River, 15 minutes from the city of Puerto Maldonado. Enai has a restaurant, outdoor pool, bar and garden. It was only about 20 minutes from the airport and the facilities were beautiful

Amazing location in the jungle. We really enjoyed our activities and the guides were all really knowledgeable and well prepared and made our experiences unique. Overall, we liked the food (some meals better than others) because we got to try several different typical Amazonian dishes and we appreciated the high quality and freshness of the ingredients, including different kinds of fresh juice every day. We also appreciated the free water refills and coffee always available. Our bungalow was very clean and comfortable (we got lucky and never had a single mosquito/bug in our room). The staff is friendly and very attentive to any needs, from the airport pick up and drop off, to any requests during the stay. Totally recommended - I guess that less positive reviews are due to the fact that some inconveniences (eg., no hot water, bugs, dark at night etc) are just part of being in the jungle itself and perhaps not everybody's cup of tea, but for us it wasn't a problem as we wanted to have a real experience of this kind.

Situato a Puerto Maldonado, a 15 minuti di auto dalla piazza principale della città, il Kapievi Ecovillage vanta un ristorante vegetariano. We stayed 3 nights after spending time in a tambopata river lodge. Kapievi is a wonderful peaceful place with delicious food and quiet isolated rooms in a tropical setting.The pool is very welcome in the jungle heat. We had the inhouse vegetarian 3 course meal twice (different menu). The meals are beautifully presented, good portions and delicious. The staff were also very helpful arranging transport into the center of Puerto Maldonado. The location is on the outskirts of Puerto Maldonado so a taxi is necessary to and from. It's not walkable.

Surrounded by lush tropical rainforest and accessed by the Madre de Dios riverboat from Puerto Maldonado port, Inkaterra Hacienda Concepcion is located in Puerto Maldonado. Tutto stupendo, un vero sogno!

Refugio Chabelita Hostel propone un alloggio con giardino, ristorante e bar a Puerto Maldonado e dispone di WiFi gratuito e vista sul giardino. The staff were very nice and very helpful. On the day of arrival in the afternoon they took us on a short tour of surroundings where they showed us local plants and the river. We event got to taste the raw cacao beans. They helped us call and order taxi because we don’t speak Spanish and Uber doesn’t work here. They have a small shop with fruits, bread, sweets and salts. Breakfast was excellent. We got avocado every day. With some rice, eggs or tamales. We also got bread and coffee or tea.

Posada Casa Bonita si trova a Puerto Maldonado e offre una piscina all'aperto, una sala comune e un bar. Great place to chill for a few days. All rooms are equpipped with fan and AC and private bathroom and fridge. Clean place all over. Theres a bar, a beautiful pool and the host is fantastic and very friendly. Even took us out to buy some food anf other stuff. Helped us with everything. This place wilk make you chill out. Its worth it. There is harldy anything bad we can mention.

Elmer and his family, the owners, are lovely. We really felt welcome and looked after like special guests. They own a basic but lovely log cabin with a pool on their property. We stayed there one night before doing our 3 days trip into the Amazon and it was perfect. They did provide local breakfast as part of the room fees and a lovely dinner at a reasonable price.

Quirquincho House Lodge offre la vista sul giardino a Puerto Maldonado e dispone di ristorante, sala comune, snack bar, giardino e terrazza. The property has two individual bungalows that are very spacious, with high ceilings, good bathroom and fly screens all around the windows. Nicolas is absolutely wonderful, very kind, very friendly and very respectful. He can organise daily tours, they were excellent. The tours were with small groups (less than 8 pax). Nicolas cooked very tasty meals. The property is located away from town, which means you have lovely nature around you, but Nicolas was very helpful in driving us to places we needed. The bungalows had a balcony, wifi and hot showers. The two dogs that live there are truly beautiful, we miss their cuddles already. Nicolas helped us find birds and a sloth nearby. There are squirrel monkeys nearby. The property is located near other resorts if you need a pool or river access. We enjoyed this property for its local community and wildlife, its excellent value for a small business. My only recommendation would be to have a tea/coffee making facilities available all day, and a large shower mat to catch excess water.
