The experience itself is really cool, but you need to put on a lot of clothes because it is going to be cold. You will never forget the water bottle.

The room was comfortable and clean and they went out of the way to make sure we were warm and cozy…heater in the room, hot water for tea, hot water bottles to warm the beds, and tons of blankets. They transported us wherever we needed to go and made arrangements for our tour to Taquile. The food was yummy and the bed was comfortable. We even had a shower with hot water! I would highly recommend them for a stay on Uros!

We felt the hospitality of Richar's family from the moment we arrived on the island till we said our goodbyes at the dock. The room was very clean, overlooking the island slope. The facilities are basic but functional and are maintained excellently. There's also a terrace to enjoy the view from the outside. All meals provided, lunch, dinner, and breakfast were excellent and served in a nicely decorated dining room. Lunch and dinner were traditional choices of quinoa/corn soup and cheese + vegetables/pasta second course, all with local ingredients. The pancake breakfast was more of a Western style and filling for the day.. Everything is very quiet on the island, even the roosters were heard only from outside. We had a chance to observe daily island life, see people going about their chores while wearing traditional clothes, watch the sunset from the highest point, and learn a bit about local beliefs and traditions. We attended the evening fiesta that was arranged for tourists. However, it mimics all the features, such as music, clothes, and dances, of authentic island celebrations. Knowing some Spanish will significantly help enrich your island experience.

TITICACA JALTAWI LODGE se află la 4,6 km de Stadionul Enrique Torres Belon și are un restaurant, o grădină, o terasă și facilități pentru sporturi acvatice. I liked everything, Wilson and Lisbeth were extremely helpful and attentive. All the services that they provided were exceptional like breakfast and dinner, despite of the cold weather their lodge had many features that helped us feel warm and comfortable. The food was amazing, they took into account our dietary restrictions. The only bad thing is that we didn’t stay longer.

Hotel - Titicaca Dora se află în Puno și pune la dispoziție unități de cazare cu zonă de relaxare. Unele unități includ un balcon și/sau un patio cu vedere la oraș sau la munte. It’s an extremely beautiful hotel, a very nice place to stay and enjoy lake Titicaca. The owner of this hotel and his family are very nice and helpful. Although it is chilly outside, they keep us comfortable inside. They also assist to arrange transportation for us.

Uros Maya Lodge se află în Puno și oferă vedere la oraș, un restaurant și room-service. Unele unități includ o zonă de luat masa și/sau un patio. De asemenea, oaspeții se pot relaxa în grădină. Very calming and relaxing lake, homemade meals were super delicious with big portions, fantastic day and night view.

We got lucky to arrive before the rain and Walter welcomed us warmly! The location is fabulous. Expect cold during the night :-) thank you Walter for the hospitality and the boat tour.
