Studios by Aqua Natura Hotels er 200 metrum frá Porto Moniz-náttúrusundlaugunum í Porto Moniz. Boðið er upp á gistirými með aðgangi að gufubaði og heitum potti. Place was lovely, very modern clean rooms, everyday cleaning service, air conditioner. We’ve been welcomed with sparkling wine and left with goodbye gift. If you have a birthday, you may count on a sweet surprise. There was a mini bar, kitchen with microwave and electric plate and small fridge, also espresso maker with excellent quality of coffee, kitchen utensils allowed for some cooking. The view showed surrounding hotel and ocean in the distance. I really enjoyed the 2 min. walk to the rooftop restaurant for breakfast because the view is amazing from there. The breakfast offered wide variety of products and meals, with porridge and some things for sandwich ( cheese, ham or marmalade/nuttella, home-made yogurt). There were also couple of positions a la carte and lots of sweet options. Coffee was also of great quality. I can’t comment on most of the meals because I am vegan and none of the meals a la carte was vegan, also it was possible to eat a sandwich only with marmalade or tomato/pepper for me the rest was just cheese and ham. I saw many people including my partner enjoyed that a lot, but if you are following vegan diet it may be cheaper to skip the breakfast option and buy yourself pack of oats and fruits because coffee is in the room anyway. However, the restaurant view was outstanding and I quite enjoyed that restaurant anyway. They always had a plant based milk so at least a porridge and fresh maracuja. The roof jacuzzi looked autor louring but I didn’t used it, bathing robes are included though as well as a daily ticket to natural swimming pools. We preferred a bit more the cachalote pools that were nearby so didn’t use the it but is is a very nice option closer to the hotel. The hotel also offers spa and massage if someone wish, as well as a little cowork area if you work remotely. WiFi was also excellent. In general, it was excellent and I would totally recommend to everyone to stay there.

Three House Hotel er með útisundlaug, líkamsræktarstöð, garð og verönd í Funchal. Miguel was the ultimate host. He provided us with a tour of the property upon arrival and then provided itineraries for each day based on what we wanted to see on the island via our rental car. He was available 24/7 via WhatsApp for any questions including providing a self walking tour of the Christmas lights. The rooftop bar/pool area was very nice with views of the city. Having access to free laundry on the fifth floor was very convenient. The fresh pastries on the doorknob in the morning ❤️

TURIM Santa Maria Hotel er staðsett í Funchal, 1,8 km frá Marina do Funchal, og státar af bar, sameiginlegri setustofu og sjávarútsýni. First of all this hotel is super clean which is the most important thing for the hotel. I really love the cleanliness in the room. The bed is very comfortable especially for older people it is tight and not so soft which supports your back. The bed is very big. Pillows are soft and the blanket is good so we had a very good sleep every night. Breakfast are okay, so many choices and if you have to leave early in the morning, you can also ask for a little take away food. The staffs are very friendly. Especially, the guy from reception that he always greetings with smile and willing to answer every questions you ask. The hotel have limited parking which is cost 15 euro per day. We used this because it is convenient for us to park whenever and drive around whenever we want. The view above the rooftop also nice with swimming pool and good cocktail. We would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone and would definitely come back to stay again if we come to Madeira!

Casa das Proteas er staðsett á Estrada das Covas no8, São Jorge, eyjunni Madeira, 50 km frá Funchal og býður upp á útsýni yfir Atlantshafið. Owner is very nice and she cooks very well! Breakfast was good and the room was clean and comfy! We had a nice ocean view!

Perched on a cliff facing the Atlantic Ocean, this design hotel is within a renovated traditional farmhouse. Location was amazing, the view was breathtaking and of course the breakfast was fantastic.
