I didn't plan to travel Sanyi but prices were just crazy during weekend in Taichung and Puli so i gave a try... and honestly it was worth it. Good and clean hostel with friendly and helpful owner. I recommend a stop here and go hike Huoyanshan mountain .

The rooms are in their home and they make you feel like you’ve become their children. They are so incredibly kind and helpful and welcoming! The rooms were extremely comfortable, even the shared bathroom is very nice. The location is top-notch too. It’s wayyy up in the mountains and the view from their roof over the mountains in the morning is….. I have no words to express it. Again just an awesome stay would definitely go back again!

There is a cafe, souvenir shop and free kimono rental. 3 min walk to the Old Street where you can find some yummy food. Highly recommend!

It was one of the best minshu that I have stayed in. The room was spacious and comfortable. The internet was wonderful. The owner was simply fantastic! 二姑娘 made us feel perfectly at home. The breakfast every morning was different and was so delicious. There was even a tea corner where we could chill and drink tea. Thank goodness we were stranded there during the typhoon and not somewhere else. We had the best stay of our trip there. The owner brought us to quirky cafes and recommended places for us to go to. Book your stay here and you won’t regret it. It has spoilt us for all other accommodation.
