In a quiet location in Wals, 5 km of the historic centre of Salzburg, the family-run Hotel Himmelreich features a sauna and a garden with a swimming pool. A large room with bathrobes. A varied mini bar. Convenient underground parking for 5 Euros. A delicious breakfast with salmon and wine. The friendly staff was happy to suggest interesting places in the city for dinner and leisure.

Very close to salzburg city. Checkin was easy thanks to the detailed email and video. City public transport passes were arranged by the hosts which was helpful to get to and around the city. This modern, quietly located 4-star hotel is part of the Wals Trade Centre and is just off the A1 motorway and only 800 metres from Salzburg Airport. A nice hotel to stay in Salzburg very close to shopping center Penny. It is in the outskirt of the city so easy to reach from the highway. With a bicycle you can easily get in the city centre too. There is a nice bicyle path all along the river, don't miss it! :) The breakfast was good too.
