24 km from Kastel Fortress, Fly & Stay Apartments is a recently renovated property situated in Laktaši and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The apartment was lovely, and our host was exceptional—extremely kind and helpful. He even offered to wake up early and drive us to the airport, which is just a minute away by car. He made us great morning coffee and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Boasting inner courtyard views, Blossom Cottage - ''Green Tourism'' offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 23 km from Kastel Fortress. We had an amazing stay at the cottage. Everything was just right – cozy, spacious, and with a really warm atmosphere. The house had comfortable beds, was very clean, and came with everything you’d need for a short break or a longer stay. One thing that really stood out is that the family produces their own biogas from the grass around the house – a system they built themselves. It’s not just a lovely stay, but also a glimpse into a more sustainable way of living, which we found inspiring. The location is beautiful, surrounded by orchards and sunflower fields, yet still close enough to walk to restaurants, supermarkets, and anything else you might need. We didn’t have a car and managed perfectly fine. On top of that, Gorana and her family were wonderful hosts – kind, easy to talk to, and we shared some genuinely good conversations and laughs. We honestly wish we could’ve stayed longer.

It was clean, comfortable, and had two balconies. The biggest advantage was its proximity to the airport. The host was very helpful and kind, especially when we had trouble finding the place due to an event in the city. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
