Set in Schönefeld, 18 km from East Side Gallery and 20 km from Alexanderplatz, Das Jaartn - Boardinghouse Appartements & Ferienwohnung offers accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. Lovely place. Stayed only a night, but I'd have happily stayed longer. One immediately recognises that this was a lobour of love, everything has been thought about, resulting in both cool and homey design and practical convenience. It's far away from Berlin's inner city, but there's a direct train connection nearby that would take you to the bustle in the very heart of the city in about 50 minutes (if DB plays along). Conveniently close to the airport. An amazing value for money.

A cozy apartment in a quiet neighborhood near the airport. Perfect to spend a night or two prior to departure or upon arrival. The apartment is equipped with everything you may need including coffee and a nice selection of tea. We arrived late due to a delayed flight, and it was so kind of the host to let us stay for longer by approving a late check-out. Highly recommended.
