What a lovely experience this was - a comfortable, quiet, countryside location but close to Roskilde where we spent a lovely day. Being outside of the bustle of busy Copenhagen, it was perfect, yet only 40 minutes away. The apartment is spacious for two and the simple kitchen counter is perfectly equipped for a short stay. The ample breakfast prepared and left in the fridge the night before was delicious. And best of all, the hosts are very welcoming and friendly.

We just mentioned some interest to bike and in the morning 2 bikes were prepared. Whether you are a city dweller looking for an opportunity to gaze upon beef cattle, walk the roads to view the neighbor horse farms or come as a country kid at heart.. you’ll enjoy the stay. This is one of the best working flats we’ve stayed at. So many kitchen supplies to cook a nice meal to enjoy on the private patio. Quiet stay (beyond a rooster crow). Easy parking is a bonus. Grocery stores are near and so is the Roskilde harbor via car. We felt the tremendous pride the owner has in the property they love and are willing to share.

This was absolutely one of the best accommodation experience I have ever had! :-) Katja was a lovely host, very kind and caring: just to illustrate - she printed out the info about the accommodation in English and in Czech for us. When you are from a small non-English speaking country (even though my friend and I speak English fluently), this means a lot. Overall, the place was clean, spacious (we had kitchen, dining area and living room for ourselves) and really nice, the house is located next to a quiet road, the place is quiet and surrounded by trees. We were really surprised because we didn't expect anything since we booked this place at the last minute. They gave you detailed instructions on your email if you arrive there late, which we did.
