Set 15 minutes’ walk from the town center of Ilulissat, HOTEL SØMA Ilulissat has spectacular views of the world famous Ilulissat Icefjord. Amazing place, super friendly staff, I even got gluten free buns packed for me for travel, that was super nice. It was cheaper than other hotels. There was kettle in the room, huge bonus.

I recently stayed at this amazing hotel and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The sea view room I booked was nothing short of breathtaking! The view of the ocean was spectacular, and the room itself was impeccably designed and well-equipped, offering everything I could possibly need for a comfortable stay. I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to the front desk staff. They were incredibly friendly, professional, and efficient. From the moment I arrived, they made sure I felt welcome and at ease. Their attention to detail was exceptional, and they took the time to ensure all my needs were met with patience and care. It really made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my experience here and will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. It is not a luxury hotel, but it is fully equipped and has a small kitchen to cook if you wish. The staff is friendly, too friendly. We felt like home. They provide transfers and pickup rides. This is too convenient. Hotel Nuka does not have view on the icebergs. But we didn't care about that. Because we choose other settlements stays for view.
