A full kitchen and spacious bathroom. The beach is a short walk through the trail and there is a shop right in the corner that's open until midnight for any late night needs. I was able to find a parking spot close to the building every night during our stay. I was a little worried about noise due to its proximity to the domestic airport but that turned out to be a complete nonissue. The owner was great and made sure we really enjoyed our time in Reykjavik.

I'm a walker so I was able to navigate the entire downtown from here, busses are also an easy option and I noticed there was parking available also.. The room had a nice deadbolt on the door so I felt safe as a single traveler. Its not a 5 star hotel but definitely clean and comfy. Check in was easy and any communication with the property was online, I had no issues that needed to be dealt with.

Plenty of room, very comfortable beds and furniture, and kitted with a full kitchen. The location was perfect for walking to shopping and restaurants, and pools! And parking was never a problem, although we did walk most of the time. I did forget to take photos. Loved that they dressed it up for the holidays. Had plenty of books and guides on Iceland. Also had a nice booklet on local restaurants and pools! That was extremely helpful!
