We stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms are big and comfortable, the beds were really really comfortable! The owner is such a nice and friendly gentleman. What a pleasure it was to meet him! The kitchen is nice and big and you can use anything you need. In the fridge was everything you need for breakfast. We would absolutely recommend this lodge to anybody!

Húsey Hostel & Horsefarm features accommodation 55 km from Egilsstadir. The hostel has family rooms. At the hostel the rooms include a shared bathroom with a shower. Everyone was really nice. Loved the countryside! My daughter loved the dog, Aska. Really good to put our stuff in the fridge. It was lovely and cosy. Thank you.

I wish we could have stayed there in our whole journey! What an amazing surrounding, the view from every window is like a cart postal! Everything was so perfect and cosy!! Definitely the best stay we had, highly recommend, a taste of original Icelandic living!

The living room was nice and cozy with comfortable chairs and couch. The kitchen is big. The beds were comfortable. We were the only ones who booked a room for the night, so we had the entire place to ourselves, which was a luxury. At night, we watched the northern lights evolve from the Hottub, which was a very unique experience!
