Everything was perfect, from our arrival (with a pick up from the airport arranged by the hotel) to our last day on the island. The location is very good, close to the sea and the port (for a day trip on a boat) and the city center, which makes you really experience the life of Lamu. The hotel manager helped us organise various activities, like a boat trip and a snorkeling trip and all exceeded our expectations: the crew, the food and the experience as a whole were great. He also recommended good restaurants nearby which we really loved. We always felt safe and that we had someone to rely on. The hotel itself is in a very nice building and we really enjoyed the breakfast on the terrace with the sea view. The room was clean and comfortable. We wished we could have spent more days there!

Our quiet room and private terrace at the back of the hotel overlooked charming rooftops, with dhows on the sea in the distance. The multiple pools, each set in its own secluded courtyard, are perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the island or the historic Old Town, and the waterside restaurant is totally delightful. Best of all, the team are so warm, welcoming and genuine - they really embody the spirit of Lamu and Kenya.

The air conditioning in the bedroom was fantastic. It was a huge bedroom with closet space, lots of room to put your stuff, and a large ensuite bathroom. The location was great, right on the waterfront, close to water taxis, etc. The staff were so friendly and were always there if you needed them. After check out, they called to inform us we left a few things in the room, we left them on purpose, but it was nice to get a follow-up call.

I stayed in 2 different rooms and both amazing. There is a shared breathtaking pool downstairs. This property is very unique a great find in Lamu. And rooms are very big. Also we booked many tours sunset cruise and old town tour both fabulous!
