Le Kree Downtown Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff. The hotel’s ambiance is relaxing, with a lush small garden and a beautiful pool that provided a perfect escape after a day of sightseeing. Our room was stylish and well-equipped, and we especially loved the comfortable bed and balcony. The breakfast was fantastic, with fresh and flavorful options each morning. The location, though slightly outside the city center, made it a peaceful retreat while still being accessible to Phnom Penh’s top attractions. We truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Le Kree Downtown Hotel to any couple seeking a memorable and romantic getaway!

Phnom Penh International Airport (PNH) Information

Location and Transport

Phnom Penh International Airport is located around 6 miles (10 kilometres) from Phnom Penh city centre. The three main options for travelling between the two are taxi, tuk tuk and public buses. Taxis are the fastest and safest method, with a maximum journey time of one hour. Tuk tuks can be found within the airport grounds and have a set price of USD 9. An air-conditioned bus is the cheapest option to use and stops directly outside the airport. Services run from 05:30 to 20:30, departing every 15 minutes.

Phnom Penh is a great place with all the hustle and bustle of a capital city but will smaller, quieter places if you look for them. It has international food from all over the world. Various party districts with pubs and clubs if you are interested - from Bassac Lane to the Riverside. There is all sorts of attractions - history, tragedy, art, family-friendly, markets, malls, royal palaces, and grand buildings. The people are friendly, and the prices are very affordable. You can have a luxury holiday at a bargain price.

Silk Island is a haven of nature and tranquility on the river. It is close enough from Phnom Penh that you can escape the mania of the city, it only takes about an hour to get there by tuk tuk. You do not need long to discover the place, it is possible to visit in half a day if you are short of time. On the island itself, there are traditional Khmer communities living and working. There are a few tourist attractions related to the silk production that occurs on the island, but don't expect lots of developments, western style bars and restaurants etc. This is a living, working community.

I stayed here for 7 nights, I wanted to take it easy and...

I stayed here for 7 nights, I wanted to take it easy and sprnd time relaxing at the hotel. 3 to 4 days is more thatn enough to see Phnom Penh, I saw most of the city in a day or two. Lovely palace, Walk along the river every night was great watching locals enjoying themselves having theur meals/picnics on the green spaces in from of the palace.

Phnom Penh is a vibrant city, but has very few tourists.

Phnom Penh is a vibrant city, but has very few tourists. People are polite and humble, they are very nice to tourists. There is a great night market, and plenty of food options to choose from. The Royal Palace area and buildings are beautiful and very peaceful. There are lots of nice temples, and you can also take a sunset boat ride on the river. The Tuol Sleng/S21 museum is shocking but very educational. You can experience and learn a lot about the country in this city.
