I stayed one night at Hulhule Island Hotel in Malé after my speedboat transfer to Dhighura was cancelled due to rough seas, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend the night. Yes, it’s on the expensive side, but the location and facilities are excellent — perfect for a short stay near the airport. I even had the chance to enjoy a quick snorkel right there, which was a lovely surprise. Breakfast was outstanding, and I want to especially thank the kind egg chef who noticed I was struggling with an injured hand and helped plate my food — such a thoughtful gesture! The bar staff were also fantastic, friendly, and attentive. Highly recommended even if it’s a bit pricey — the service and comfort make it well worth it.

We had complimentary arrival transfer from and to the Velana International Airport to/from hotel. We left our luggage at the hotel after we checked out because we had a late flight and were able to explore Male and Hulhumale in peace. The location of the hotel is very good, just 2 minutes from the ferry and bus stop. The staff is nice and friendly. The room was clean.

Perfect location, less than 5 minutes walk from the ferry terminal. Lovely apartment, very clean and comfortable. Perfect hosts, excellent communication and very clear arrival instructions. Lovely terrace with great views of the planes landing at the airport. Great location for restaurants and shops, an easy walk to the markets (fish market and fruit and vegetable markets) and to see the stingrays feeding. Easy access to the airport by ferry which we did or by taxi too. Look forward to staying again on our next trip.
