The nice warm room (important in Invercargill), the very comfortable bed, the excellent shower, the kitchen facilities, the best sports channels on the TV and the great location right in the most convenient area of the city. We didn't avail ourselves of the breakfast delivered to your room, as we could prepare the same things for ourselves in the room using the full kitchen facilities. Of course you have to get a few supplies to be able to do this, but a large supermarket was not far away.

The property features free fitness centre access and an in-house movie theatre. when we arrived the reception was great at sorting our booking even though was late at night. friendly staff and the lady who cleaned our room super respectful and kind all staff had big smiles and welcoming.

Kelvin Hotel is situated in the city centre, only a short walk to major attractions and a 10-minute drive to the Invercargill Airport. The hotel offers rooms with a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi access. It was the first hotel I've been in since the start of the trip, so it was nice to have elevators and less chaos immediately outside my room. The shower was wonderful, the bed comfortable and the room perfect for what I needed.parking was a small distance away but secure, which was nice.
