The location of this camp is brilliant, close to the Murchison Falls and far from any other tourist lodges. Only accessible by boat (with great game and bird viewing on the one hour journey) makes it even more special. The walk to the top of the Falls ends in a view that cannot be bettered. The staff are fantastic, food is excellent, luxury tents are well appointed and the overall experience really makes this place a gem.

Quiet, tranquil, clean nice little place. It surprised me already the moment we got off our car, because not only did they show up with towels - which is a little extra gesture to show their welcome - but also the towel is cold! It was such a caring addition to everything else when we were sweating insanely under the heat! Regarding the rooms, this is pretty much the only lodge I have seen (among national park-types of lodge) that has a design. I stayed in the deluxe bamboo room and the design makes it much cooler and more airy than many other lodges I've stayed in. It's spacious and clean and tidy. I decided not to stay in the cottages after reading reviews about how the cottages face the west so it's too hot in the afternoon. There's hot water in the bathroom so that's a big plus, although you might not need it much. Because they're on a solar system, just like many safari lodges, so we can't use our regular hairdryer but they have their own hairdryer they can lend to guests. The swimming pool was very clean and nice too! I took an afternoon dip every day during my stay and it's perfect under that hot weather. The room has a phone so we can call the reception for any service needed. This is quite different from many lodges where you walk 5 minutes to your cottage and then have to walk 5 mins back if anything is missing. The service was also incredibly fast! One time we ordered some drinks and it arrived within 3 minutes! We only had one meal (dinner) at the lodge and it was great too! I wouldn't say I'd go specifically for the meal but it's definitely above average considering meals at safari lodges. Overall this is a really great place to stay. It doesn't feel overly luxurious and fancy but the cleanliness and service made me 100% enjoy my stay. Let's say they focus on what is truly important, instead of building a fancy place and charging high prices for no reason. I highly recommend it!

Red Chilli Rest Camp se nachází v destinaci Murchison Falls National Park a poskytuje zahradu a bar. Jen 35 km odtud se nachází Bugungu Wildlife Reserve. Wow, wow, wow....WHAT a find!! I read some other reviews while planning our Ugandan adventure and Red Chilli looked amazing. I'm pleased to say that the camp, the location, the staff AND the hippo that woke us up at 5am with a loud munch-munch-munch eating the short grass right outside the window..did not disappoint. Special mention must go to Gary, the manager of the camp, who went out of his way to assist me with an issue with my vehicle..much appreciated! However, my wife and I agree that the star of the (human) show was Brenda. From the moment we arrived until when we left, she was always friendly, smiling and incredibly helpful...an absolute credit to the camp. If you are reading this and you are lucky enough to book a stay here...DO IT. One of the highlights of our trip ..loved it.

Paraa Safari Lodge offers accommodation in Murchison Falls National Park. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free WiFi is provided and free private parking is available on site. The best location you could ask for. Food was amazing and the staff was exceptional. Special thanks to the bartender Godfrey and Geoffrey for the game drive.

Elephant View Lodge poskytuje terasu, bar a pokojovou službu. Bugungu Wildlife Reserve je 30 km odtud. Such a lovely and welcoming Staff. Food was very good. Excellent Hospitality by entire team.
