Coast Inn at Lake Hood, is a short walk away to watch float planes take on and off from one of the busiest seaplane bases in the world. The room size was very large and very comfortable. The bed was really comfortable. Watching the planes land and take off was fun.

It was lucky that we had booked this apartment instead of a hotel. Marty and his family welcomed us so kindly, the apartment is huge and when we asked where we can buy the original salt and pepper shakers, he gave them to us. The accommodation is quiet but close to the airport and the port for the seaplanes. Si it´s the best choise for excursions in the area. Thank you very much for this warm stay.

Everyone is always so friendly even when things get overwhelming or hectic. I loved that when my plane came in earlier than expected, the front desk associate didn't keep me waiting and placed me in an available room. The room was super big for just me BUT I remained thankful and just stayed in the space and kept it neat. First time I was on the 3rd floor and was excited to have access to an elevator.
