I really enjoyed my time here. The staff are amazing people. They really care about making your stay as amazing as they can. You get complimentary kombutcha with your stay. The rooms are clean and very neatly maintained. The location is also amazing. Its a little bit away from town so its quiet and calm. The area around the hotel is great in terms of scenic viewing. You can snorkel in the water and see some turtles. The japanese garden is a beautiful 20 minutes walk from it.

While the rooms are a blast from the past, the price was amazing and our room had the most beautiful view of the bay and cruise ships. The best part of the trip was Albert, the groundskeeper. We learned about the history of the hotel, the island and had the best conversation about everything and nothing at the same time. If you stay here, you have to find Albert!

The location was excellent, its near the famous gardens and turtle island which are lovely walks. It is also a major pickup point for various tour groups. The hotel itself was quite decent for the price, very laid back with good facilities. Perfect for couples or families.
