The morning manager knew us by name within the first day and answered our questions and helped us out when we needed it. She was great. Our room was too small so we arranged to move to a suite. Although this location is older and could use some upgrades and improvements, the suite was clean and the bed amazingly comfortable. The sheets were dreamy and soft. We had a surprisingly great stay here!

Jenn at the front desk was so kind and so was the young lady that was over the breakfast area. The room was spotless! The location was perfect! Right next to a truck station for last minute supply items as well as serval places to eat within walking distance. They also had an on-sight laundry area to wash/dry clothes. The perfect Hotel for cruisers. The Lyft ride to the port was only $26.

This hotel is 18 minutes' drive from Virginia Beach. It features an outdoor pool, a full breakfast and rooms provide flat-screen cable TVs and free Wi-Fi. Impressed immediately by the service when we arrived. The man at the front desk was really friendly and gave me a few complimentary snacks/drinks for my wife and kids. The breakfast was great for a place at this price point, and the chef kept everything fresh. Only bummed we couldn't hop in the pool (looked pristine--saw an employee skimming it as we left), but we were only there for one night and my kids wanted to hit up the beach.

This Norfolk hotel is located on the Virginia Beach and Norfolk city borders and one-half mile from Virginia Wesleyan University. They were just so polite. From the front office to housekeeping. That to me is always an extra positive aspect when I do get a chance to get away. To be in the company of people who seem to care about you. A smile goes an absolute long way. It was so peaceful I skipped breakfast.
