Set in Isando, 20 km from Johannesburg, City Lodge Hotel at OR Tambo International Airport boasts an outdoor pool and fitness centre. Every room has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The location is perfect since it is within walking distance to the airport terminals. When I checked in, the receptionist was very polite, cheerful and welcoming. I was pleased to be given a room with the most beautiful views of Johannesburg just as I had requested prior to my arrival. The room was excellent and had everything an international traveler would need (including different types of sockets to charge mobile phones or shaving machines). When I checked out, I was pleasantly surprised and grateful that one of the hotel staff (a young porter) carried my luggage and walked with me to Terminal B. A truly wonderful experience!

Southern Sun offers luxury rooms with a contemporary design. It features an outdoor pool, bar area and a buffet restaurant called Bernoulli’s. This hotel has one of the best breakfast I know. Special mention to the consierge Bridgette, very lovely and helpful girl. Shuttle Service Bus perfect as always.

Dove’s Nest is located less than 2 km from OR Tambo Airport and offers a free airport shuttle. It offers a breakfast room overlooking the garden and spacious guest rooms. It was only me and my kids traveling, they made sure to collect us at the airport and they were friendly, helpful. We felt save a specially sleeping there for the first time. And it was very clean

Airport Inn offers a free shuttle service to and from OR Tambo International Airport, 4 km away. Transportation included from and to the airport. Breakfast to go if you leave earlier than their schedule. Hot shower, good wifi and helpful service

This hotel offers modern rooms with flat-screen TV and an outdoor pool in a cosy courtyard. The brilliant buffets and pub. The room is comfortable. Beds really comfy. We loved our stay at this Hotel and have recommended it to others. ❤

Premier Hotel O.R. Tambo offers rooms with a satellite TV and free WiFi. The hotel offers a free airport shuttle to O.R. Tambo Airport and Rhodesfield Gauteng Station. Staff were incredibly polite. The food was exceptional, especially the included breakfast. The place was very clean, and we were generally well received by all.
