Variety for breakfast and dinner was excellent. Snacks choices were good. Annika found me a suitable box to ship home ski gear after I was injured. It was a huge weight off my mind and off luggage. 😁 After moving to another lovely hotel in Bad Hofgastein, we recognize just how comfortable and cared for we were at Oberforsthof. Alpinresort ValSaa - Sport & Spa se nachází jen 100 metrů od centra Saalbachu a 2 minuty pěšky od lyžařského vleku Schattberg Xpress. Staff was amazing; super friendly and helpful. Most were bilingual which is a huge plus.

Hotel DIE SONNE se nachází 10 minut chůze od centra Saalbachu a nabízí wellness centrum s krytým bazénem a pokoje s balkonem a výhledem na hory. The hotel was perfect. Very well run family hotel. All staff were warm, friendly and attentive. Everything was kept exceptionally clean. This includes all the public areas such as the toilets, the sauna and the spa area. It runs a complimentary shuttle service that takes guests to the lifts and back (only 5 min ride away but a lot easier by car). There was a good selection of food. Breakfast offer was excellent. The room was spacious with good storage space, a balcony and a bath. There was an evening entertainment on one of the nights with a local musician - Peter W., which was excellent. He got everyone dancing. There is a kids club for non-skiers but we didn't use it as our daughter went to a ski school. We had a fabulous holiday. Thank you!

Cozy place, two spacious bedrooms, little terrace. Two pools are included in the price - indoor and outdoor. Free of charge covered garage, comfortable bed, very satisfying breakfast. Children playground in the territory. 15 mins walk from the lake with nice path along. Very welcoming service in the reception.

Situated directly on the crystal-clear Fuschlsee, Vogl’s Nest is a retreat for nature-loving connoisseurs seeking tranquility, warmth, and a slower pace. The location is unparalleled. Easily accessible from Salzburg via the 150 bus. The town is much more lively in the summer when the water is warm enough to swim, but we quite enjoyed the more quiet nature in late May. We spent our first day soaking up the sun in the private seating area by the lake, reserved for patrons of the hotel. Although our second day was drizzly, (had to cancel our stand-up paddle board reservation) we still made the best of it & took a beautiful walk around the lake, then took advantage of the spa at the hotel (saunas, water massages/jet tubs, water beds, an infrared chamber). The crowning jewel of the trip was by far the accomodating nature & hospitality of the family Vogl, who run the hotel. I could not speak more highly of them. We arrived in town 4 hours before we could check in at 15:00, and they were happy to hold our luggage until then at the front desk. I had warned them in advance when booking the stay that my mom has celiac & cannot have gluten, and during our breakfast (an INCREDIBLE spread, unlike anything I’d ever seen at a breakfast buffet), they brought out all sorts of gluten free options specifically for her to eat. As we had to head out before breakfast on our last day, our stay concluded with the AMAZING 5-course dinner put together by the hotel. You must reserve at least a day in advance, and was worth far more than the €32 a person that we paid to sit by the lake & enjoy our delicious food. My mom was blown away by the fact that they made a special cauliflower soup for her for her allergy, and offered her high quality gluten free rolls. We cannot say enough about this trip of a lifetime and recommend to anyone.
