I had trouble with my Google maps but the host was amazing in helping maneuver. The information was easy to follow and everything was wonderful. You can walk along the river, 15 minutes walk to Ponte Vecchio, Uffuzi Gallery, and Duomo. Area is safe and silent, streets towards the center has good restaurants and cafes. The apartment is very cozy and authentic. It was clean and cute. Rachele was very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend.

Set in north Florence, Residence Leopoldo is 100 metres from the tram stop T1 for Santa Maria Novella Train Station. It offers ultra-modern apartments with free Wi-Fi, LCD TVs and DVD players. Tilava, toimiva, siisti, hyvin varusteltu huoneisto sopi loistavasti neljän hengen lapsiperheelle. Huoneistossa oli kaikki tarvittava kevyeen kokkailuun. Palazzo Gamba is located right in front of Florence's Cathedral. It offers uniquely designed apartments with air conditioning and fully equipped kitchenette. The location of the apartment was at the epicentre of Florence. We couldn't have been any more central. It became a bit of a joke that pretty much everywhere we wanted to go was between a one and a fifteen minute walk away. There was an amazing view of the piazza in front of the duomo from our windows. It was wonderful to drink a cup of tea and watch the goings on below. The apartment was large with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a spacious living/kitchen area with a gorgeous frescoed ceiling. It was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable and the showers were great. I have arthritic knees and the apartment was on the fifth floor, but there was a perfectly cute elevator to waft us upwards.
