The staff are all lovely, the room was very clean and the air con was good. We rented a moped and this was very easy. They also booked our taxis for us and stopped us being overcharged.

The location was great for us, away from the hustle and bustle of the city and with private access to the beach which we very much liked, we Snorkled there and saw some Giant turtles, which is a bit hard to find in other beaches. The bungalows and amenities were in a good condition and clean. Breakfast was also Good. Staff was on top. Would definitely recommend !

Teo and Arlyn are wonderful hosts and can help with anything you need. They have scooters for hire and the guesthouse is closer to White Beach than Panagsama where the sardines, bars and restaurants are. The rooms are swept daily and the sheets changed every two days. It is kept immaculate! If you are not sure how long you'll want to stay in the area, book it for a few days longer so you won't have to move. The beds are very comfortable. Very. I slept so well here. They offer breakfast only, not included, and the serving time is flexible. Would stay in no other place. A scooter is a valuable item there.

I loved everything about my stay and am so glad I found Ancelle! It’s so peaceful and serene. There is amazing snorkeling just outside your door with a huge coral wall and lots of turtles. You get your own little slice of private beach. Breakfast was provided daily and brought to your villa at whatever time you want. Sister Theresa is amazing and so incredibly kind and helpful. She arranged all my transfers and day tours and hunts for the best prices. All the proceeds go to the orphanage and on top of that she also rescues animals as well. I’m so grateful to the sisters for all they do. The villa is quiet, clean and a convenient 10 min walk to town. There is also snorkel gear to borrow if needed for free. Thank you for an amazing stay!

She made sure we had everything we needed and even helped us with our canyoneering tour and information about the area. She’s amazing—always ready to help! I accidentally left a few things behind, and she went out of her way to ship them back to me. The place was super quiet, comfortable, and incredibly affordable.
