The minute we arrived, our expectations weren’t just met, they were exceeded in every way. We had an idea of what to expect from the photos and reviews, but it was even better than we could've imagined. It was our first time on Evia, but it wasn’t our first time in Greece. Still, after all the kindness and hospitality we’ve experienced from Greeks over the years, we’ve never felt the kind of warmth and care that Irini and her lovely family showed us. Alex was always there when we needed something, whether it was helping us get around the island, giving tips on where to go, or just being around if we had any questions. And Irini’s kindness made everything feel even more special. The apartment was absolutely beautiful, recently renovated, super clean, nicely decorated, and full of thoughtful little details that made us feel right at home. One thing’s for sure: we’re definitely coming back to Evia, and we’ll always stay at Irini’s amazing place on Mourteri Beach. P.S. Make sure to try Irini’s homemade cakes, they're delicious. And don’t miss Alex’s coffee, it’s honestly the best we’ve had anywhere on the island!
