We did a kayak tour into San Ignacio which was super chill and the guide was very informative. Got to see monkeys and toucans!

Loved everything about our stay here, it was pure perfection. If it’s available, do not pass up the opportunity to experience it. The lodge is beautiful and so well designed and presented, with lovely homely touches, clean spacious shower room, comfortable bed and bedroom with cracking aircon, great outdoor seating area, in all just cannot fault it. Communication with Hadas/Dusty was spot on, Hadas also arranged for us to do bird watching and cooking onsite with Flora, both of which were great experiences. On arrival we were met by Willy and Stinky who are both adorable and so friendly, they spent a lot of time with us when we were there! Willy was also a great swimming buddy in the river. Facilities in the lodge were second to none and also catered for our unstated needs! Fully stocked kitchen and a bonus of running bottled water. Having the river there to both cool down in and sunbathe by was a bonus and well used with the humidity at the time we stayed. The location was perfect for us, far enough from town to be remote and only a few mins drive into civilisation. Albert, the main man on site in the day, was lovely and friendly and we had some good conversation with him. The security here is also good, with an electric entrance gate and non intrusive cameras, but Willy and Stinky were the best security, making sure you knew about any movement even remotely near the property! They also slept outside our room on a night, ready and waiting for a breakfast treat in the morning! So cute. If you’re not a dog lover though, they won’t bother you, so please don’t be put off by them being there.

Lower Dover Jungle Lodge & Maya Ruins se nachází v destinaci Unitedville a má restauraci, sdílenou kuchyň, bar, zahradu, terasu, venkovní gril a výhled na řeku. Maddie was super lovely! Really helpful with any questions and her food was great! The best vegetarian food I have had in Belize. I was worried about how far away it was from San Ignacio but there is a bus stop near the property and that meant you could go and explore San Ignacio and the ruins surrounding it really easily. River and the ruins on the property are also great.

It's an excellent place to relax after a day of activities in San Ignacio. I stayed in a beautiful private room with air conditioning, a fan, and a private bathroom. The kitchen was clean and had everything you needed. They also offer laundry service. The staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations for places to visit in Cayo.
