This is the place to stay when going to Palomino. Starting with the friendly staff, the beautiful accommodations and the very clean room made such a wholesome experience. The location was ideal for us, its placed right on the edge of where the business ends and the beach life begins giving you a beautiful stroll through to the beach - passing by all of our favorite shops and restaurants. When we arrived we spoke with the staff about recommendations, and they did not miss. We tried them all and our experience was enhanced because of it. We will be back again, soon!

Really friendly and attentive staff. Food is excellent, definitely the best I had in Palomino. Room was in top condition with very good air conditioning. The pool area is also lovely. This is the best accommodation I stayed in during my time in Colombia. Access to and from was extremely convenient, especially when you book through their partner transport company - SMR Travel. Edwin was a pleasure to deal with.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and à la carte restaurant and a garden, Tiki Hut Hostel is located just a few steps from Palomino Beach right between Palomino and San Salvador rivers. Everythings lovely made and really good staff who take care of everything. Fair prices (bar & restaurant) and good food! We loved to stay there and even extended our stay. The obly downside are the beds, which are new but hard (normally in the beginning). Otherwise very comfortable and clean. Absolute recommendation.

Just a short walk from the malecón, I could enjoy sunsets over the sea, delicious street food, and vibrant local markets. It felt authentic, welcoming, and safe, with friendly locals and a laid-back vibe that made me want to stay longer. This was the ideal base for exploring La Guajira—from Cabo de la Vela to the salt flats of Manaure. Whether you're here to relax or to adventure, this spot is a perfect launchpad.
