The room was comfy and clean and staff were very helpful and pleasant.

This place was a gem. Besides the very friendly and helpful hosts, the room was very clean, spacious and well furnished. The ensuite bathroom was unusually large (including bathtub) and fully equipped with amenities. There was also a kitchenette just outside our room (separate room) with various foodstuffs (granola, fruit, soya milk etc), which meant we could have a good breakfast (this was a pleasant surprise since breakfast had not been mentioned in the booking). Location was good, since it was walking distance from the main sites.

The room was gorgeous and comfortable, and a great size, it was super clean and the staff were fantastic. Its right in the heart of Whitstable - the location really is a dream! We got engaged during the trip, and the staff were so sweet, bringing us some complementary prosecco to celebrate over breakfast! The breakfast is also really superb - great food in a lovely space with fast service. This would already be a wonderful place to stay, and it was made that extra bit more special by the staff. We had dinner booked nearby but after seeing the restaurant at the Duke when we were checking in, and the breakfast the next day, we would definitely have like to have tried their dinner menu as well.

Asked and received early check in - thank you. Anne happened to be there and was very friendly and helpful.

It was the best location imaginable in Ramsgate. A spacious Victorian room with many conveniences was splendid. We appreciated fresh buns and scones provided daily by the host.
