Located just a few steps from the beach, Hotel Marina offers accommodation in Monterosso al Mare, in the Cinque Terre National Park. The staff was very kind and even greeted us around town, the room was very well kept and clean and most importantly very homey. We felt right at home! The breakfast was also excellent, with a small buffet of cakes and desserts and a menu of various dishes, both savory and sweet, all very well-made and in generous amounts. Breakfast was also served in a truly wonderful terrace full of lemon trees which made the experience even more beautiful. The free beach was also a 5-minute walk away and we could always find a space for two towels in the afternoon, which meant that when coming back from exploring the other places we could always put on our swimming suits and go snorkeling (very recommended since the water is crystal clear and full of small fish). We could also borrow their beach towels which was very useful. The way from the train station was a bit uphill (although the whole town is full of ups and downs) but overall pretty quick and full of restaurants and souvenir shops which can come in very handy. We definitely recommend the affiliated restaurant "Da Eraldo" for some good quality fish and seafood and "L'Osteria" for some good local food; the staff of both of these was also very friendly and very willing to make some small talk. We also recommend the trekking trail "Sentiero Azzurro" but be aware that there are some pretty long uphill stairways so start early in the morning if you're planning to go there in summer. Overall our stay was wonderful and there were no complications, truly a wonderful place to spend a couple of days!

Located 250 metres from the beach in Monterosso al Mare, the Margherita is a modern hotel with a peaceful patio. It offers free Wi-Fi and air-conditioned rooms with a fridge and a satellite LCD TV. Elisa was terrific help, the breakfast was outstanding. It was great to have bar service at the hotel.

Just 100 metres from Fegina Beach, Hotel Villa Adriana is set among palm trees. It offers a Ligurian restaurant, a pool, and classically furnished rooms with an LCD TV. La situació, confort, l'amabilitat del personal, netedat. Un hotel extremadament agradable.

Offering panoramic views of the Cinque Terre coastline, Albergo Suisse runs a free scheduled shuttle service to Monterosso, 1 km away. All air-conditioned rooms come with satellite TV. Parking is... We loved this hotel. Beautiful views of Monterosso from our balcony, very clean spacious room, really nice breakfast and a lovely little bar serving coffee and drinks!

Situated within 400 metres of Spiaggia di Arenella and 16 km of Castello San Giorgio, La Casa Rotonda features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Portovenere. Great location very central to bus, harbor, restaurants, castle and abbey. Clean. Perfect for one night!

Situated in Monterosso al Mare within 400 metres of Fegina Beach and 32 km of Castello San Giorgio, Camere Margot features rooms with free WiFi. Great communication throughout the trip. Nice amenities including snacks and a drying rack out in the front courtyard. Great location, comfortable room.

Located in Portovenere, the recently renovated Le Finestre Veneris provides accommodation 200 metres from Spiaggia di Arenella and 16 km from Castello San Giorgio. Location is perfect for boat trips,bus journeys to La Spezia (2 euros 50 ) and 3 minutes walk to restaurants. Excellent.

Offering inner courtyard views, Alby Express Rooms is an accommodation situated in La Spezia, less than 1 km from Castello San Giorgio and 29 km from Carrara Convention Center. Room was very close to the train station and all the activities.

Set in Riomaggiore, Sotto Sale-5 Terre affittacamere is a recently renovated accommodation, 500 metres from Riomaggiore Beach and 14 km from Castello San Giorgio. Excellent room and Erika (and her father) were super helpful. Strongly recommended (if the stairs - which is quite common in the area - is not an issue). Room and location were super.
