Featuring a garden, terrace and views of garden, The Wave Rooms & Hostel is located in Arugam Bay, 300 metres from Arugam Bay Beach. The property has a great location that’s central to town but in a quiet street. The room and bed were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is clean as well. Rinas was so helpful while I was in a stressful situation with my shuttle never arriving. He found another ride for me last minute and saved the day. 10/10 would recommend!

Agra Arugambay has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Arugam Bay. The property is around 200 metres from Arugam Bay Beach, 3.4 km from Muhudu Maha Viharaya and 5.1 km from Crocodile Rock. The host was super helpful, as we told him that the AC in our room is not working properly. He immediately fixed the problem by calling the repair guys on a weekend evening. He also provided tons of useful hints and info about Sri Lanka. With one work he is a really cool and knowledgeable guy who runs his business impeccably. The breakfast was also marvelous (portion and taste). The only negative thing to mention is the smell in the bathroom (with closed door only the bathroom) which occurred time to time. (Might be because of the swampy land behind the building.)

The property is pretty much spotless and located just meters from the Indian Ocean, which means you can hear the waves ALL NIGHT. The staff is super attentive and thoughtful, from the caretakers to the bartenders to the management. I was also pleasantly surprised to find real Neapolitan pizza, a wide selection of Italian wines, and caffè corretto with Sambuca (!) – just when I started missing European flavors a bit ;) And if that wasn’t enough, the yoga classes first thing in the morning put you in a blissful mood. Would definitely come back <3

The best part about this place is Mohammed, he made sure we were always comfortable, he always had delicious snacks for us. The room was really comfortable, with AC and a fan. Just next to the beach, and a really good surf school. Would recommend.

Wonderful property and host! Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

Situated 300 metres from Arugam Bay Beach, Starfish Cabbana offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden. Nice garden with friendly staff and good comfortable rooms! Everything we needed! Tari, had already cleaned our room even though we arrived earlier and forgot to inform him, the room was pretty comfortable with a big bed, small table and hangers to organize our stuff, bathroom and a balcony in the entrance. There is space for parking and for surfboards besides a collective area for breakfast. The homestay is about 3 minutes walking from the beach and from the center of the city but is still protected from noise. We really liked our stay!
