The owner and his brothers did everything to make our stay very enjoyable: They gave us fresh fruit juices at our day of departure when we didn't want breakfast in the early morning and they even grilled some fishes that we brought at no extra cost in addition to the dinner that we ordered. The rooms are clean and spacious and the 3 bungalows are in a small side street with a nice garden, so it's calm and green around. When the neighbour climbed his palm trees to collect coconuts, we also received fresh coconuts for free. The breakfast was rich and they also offered good dinner (a whole fish, prawns or crab). We took the fish for 13 EUR.

Since Ms Krish has a big heart for animals, especially for dogs, you should also find dogs great. These belong like the loving hostess to the accommodation. The owner and the workers are really nice and helpful and the hotel is located few minutes walking from Kalkudah beach. You can also easily reach Passikudah beach by foot. I highly recommend staying here!

Karpaha Sands se nachází v destinaci Pasikuda a má kola zdarma, venkovní bazén, zahradu a sdílený lounge. This hotel had everything we needed for a week of total relaxation. The hotel is quite remote, which actually made it easier for us to take full advantage of everything it had to offer. We were so kindly upgraded to the Seed suite which was perfect as we were traveling with young children. The tent was unbelievable. Comfortable and luxurious. The massages are amazing too. The food though, out of this world. I made sure to try something different every day. So fresh! The staff were unbelievably friendly. From Umberto the manager who was a fabulous host, to Jude and the barman who were so kind to our kids. Jude even rode into town to get our 1 year a little dolly to play with. The barman (sorry we forgot his name 😬) spoilt our kids with ice creams and also my husband and I the most unreal cocktails (especially the Icy J&R). We also used the transport which the hotel can provide and it was very comfortable, even for a long drive. I could go on about how amazing this place is, but I think we’ll just have to go back again!

Beautiful and luxorious resort, nice staff, everything clean. Room service excellent. Private beach with plenty of space, free umbrellas and sunbeds, the beach is cleaned every morning. The kitchen offers a great variety of dishes both local and European, everything is made of quality ingredients and the dishes are delicious.

The staff is amazing, they are caring, they do everything for you to feel good and have the best experience. They spot every detail for you. The chef deserves a micheline star. The food experience was delicious. It is the perfect place to recharge. Thank you to the staff of kalkudah beach house for making this place a wonderful moment for us.

This place is twice as nice as the Ubay Homestay I stayed at in Trincomalee for which I paid much more - $30 per night. What's better about it, besides the lower price, is: More spacious, more modern room Fewer bugs (really hardly any) Larger, less smelly bathroom Much quieter setting. Instead of being in the middle of a bunch of other places, including a loud hostel next door, as Ubay was, this place is in a wide open, peaceful setting, the only close neighbor a church. Better breakfast at the same price - 1300 Free, filtered water A larger staff, very attentive, but unobtrusive, only there when you need them The two beaches nearby are quieter and less crowded Much thanks to Usha, the owner's wife, who speaks excellent English. She welcomed me graciously with fresh coconut water and gave me another one when I left.
