The owner and his brothers did everything to make our stay very enjoyable: They gave us fresh fruit juices at our day of departure when we didn't want breakfast in the early morning and they even grilled some fishes that we brought at no extra cost in addition to the dinner that we ordered. The rooms are clean and spacious and the 3 bungalows are in a small side street with a nice garden, so it's calm and green around. When the neighbour climbed his palm trees to collect coconuts, we also received fresh coconuts for free. The breakfast was rich and they also offered good dinner (a whole fish, prawns or crab). We took the fish for 13 EUR.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The place is stunning, with beautiful artwork displayed throughout. We stayed in a villa with an ocean view — it was not only beautiful but also incredibly comfortable. I especially enjoyed the selection of tea provided in the room. The swimming pool area was fantastic. Even though the hotel was fully booked, it never felt crowded and remained peaceful and relaxing. The cherry on top was the exceptional staff. From the attentive hotel manager to our wonderful butler, Malshan, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect stay, everyone was warm, helpful, and dedicated to making our experience memorable. The hotel itself is excellent, but it’s the attention to small details that truly sets it apart. Last but not least, the spa was amazing. I had a fantastic massage with Priyanka — she was kind, and her hands worked magic.

We were quite concerned on the way there because the trip was through some interesting but desolate terrain. What a great surprise. The property is beautiful and the staff and service were superb. Instead of being in the middle of a bunch of other places, including a loud hostel next door, as Ubay was, this place is in a wide open, peaceful setting, the only close neighbor a church. Better breakfast at the same price - 1300 Free, filtered water A larger staff, very attentive, but unobtrusive, only there when you need them The two beaches nearby are quieter and less crowded Much thanks to Usha, the owner's wife, who speaks excellent English. She welcomed me graciously with fresh coconut water and gave me another one when I left.
