We needed to extend our stay, and they reconciled our incorrect booking with our current rooms and sorted it all out for us.

Featuring a terrace and views of garden, Highbury Colombo is a recently renovated homestay set in Colombo, 1.1 km from Milagiriya Beach. The location is beautiful - in a leafy suburb of Colombo where the pace is gentle. The gardens are delightful and made such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The guesthouse itself is special - open pavilion-style lounge area with an indoor courtyard letting in natural light. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was delicious. There's a choice of western or local breakfast, and if you feel adventurous, the hosts explain ingredients, how to prepare and eat the breakfast. It's honestly so delicious. The hosts are friendly, kind and knowledgeable. It was easy to communicate and to come and go as you need. Restaurants nearby are walking distance for lunch / dinner. It's easy for tuktuks or taxis to get you there and away as you need with attractions like Barefoot very nearby. If you're travelling alone, it's perfect - you feel safe and comfortable to spend time alone or engage with hosts and other guests as you like.

When we checked in we got upgraded to a suite and even though we only stayed 1 day, it was so wonderful! The kids had lots of space and even we enjoyed the amenities including the huge rub and breathtaking view from the bathroom!

Everything was amazing, I couldn't recommend the hotel enough. Staff were lovely and extremely helpful, water in the shower was hot, the beds were comfy. 10/10 definitely!
