Die Zimmer waren sauber und gut ausgestattet. Insekten und Krabbeltiere gab es keine, weder im Zimmer noch im Bad. Das Essen war sehr gut. Es gab kostenfreie Strandtücher und einen schönen Strandzugang. Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Service. Wir werden wieder kommen.

The hosts Avi and Sabina are sooooooo nice. We felt very comfortable and welcomed from the first second! Also their three dogs and one cat are super cute! Avi and Sabina helped us out in every situation, they were always at the property to support us and they cook sooo yummy breakfast/dinner! Wow, props to you! It’s also vegan friendly which we loved :) One night Avi put a beamer on and we could watch a movie outside with the other guests, which was pretty cool. The bungalow is sweet decorated , there is an AC, fan, big and comfortable bed and big bathroom. A room to relax and feel comfortable. The own terrace was cool to hang out, read a book or have breakfast. We got a wonderful Christmas Dinner, all self made by our hosts and their staff. The staff is also super friendly and helpful! It’s located close to the beach. There is also many restaurants and shops nearby. All in all we can definitely recommend staying here as long as possible :) thank you 🙏🏽🥰

Die Unterkunft Ging Oya Lodge hat kostenlose Fahrräder, einen Außenpool, einen Garten und eine Terrasse in Wayikkal. Die Lage am Fluss ist phantastisch, das Personal überaus zuvorkommend. Dazu eine entspannte und geschmackvolle Atmosphäre - wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Für Rad- und Kanutouren steht alles bereit. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Die Unterkunft Surfpoint Sri Lanka Kite Village hat einen Garten, einen eigenen Strandbereich, eine Gemeinschaftslounge und eine Terrasse in Kalpitiya. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The shower was consistently hot and AC worked well. The staff were very friendly. The manager in particular was super helpful. The food is really good and reasonably priced for the area. The accommodated our vegetarian needs and even made us veggie burgers on burger night. The location is good. Honestly the beach is being consumed by the sea but Surfpoint are doing a really good job at retaining what they can. We are not kite surfers and we came here just to relax after some hard travelling and it was perfect. It was also great to be surrounded by enthusiastic kite surfers and watch them in the bay. We wish we had allowed more time here.

The rooms are pretty basic but they are clean and smell amazing. The owner is so helpful and the food was delicious. There aren’t windows but the net over the bed kept the mosquitos out. We really enjoyed our stay. Kalpitiya is pretty spread out but we had a motorbike so got around okay.

We had the best time staying at Wild Wadi Wilpattu. The property is located about 5 - 10 minutes from the Wilpattu park entrance which not only means you can easily book a safari but you also experience some incredible wild life just steps outside your door. We cannot praise the staff enough. Everyone we spoke with was so nice and so accommodating. It’s very clear that the folks at Wild Wadi are very passionate about animals, the environment and sharing all of their knowledge with their guests. We had breakfast and dinner at Wild Wadi each night. We had traditional Sri Lankan meals and it was some of the best food we had so far on our trip. We would highly recommend booking at Wild Wadi if you are visiting Wilpattu - such an incredible experience! We will be back!
