The location was by the beach with sliding room doors leading to a terrace down to the beach. The sunset/sunrise was amazing! We really appreciated the air conditioning and ample room for the family. They even had an outdoor shower.

Porto Hotel er staðsett í Lázaro Cárdenas. Hótelið býður upp á útisundlaug og sólarhringsmóttöku. Is cheap and comfortable, situated downtown, close to the main Port authorities, and close to Arcellor and Port entrances. It has even a TV (I didn't use it), and the WiFi seems to work well.

This is an out of the way, little family run hotel. We liked it for just that reason. It's right on the beach and there are opportunities to see Tortugas at night and possibly hatched babies working their way to the ocean. There is a small restaurant with a sufficient menu and plenty of beer. Unfortunately, it closes at 5:00 so be sure to plan ahead. The room was a very basic but clean Mexican style room. We had plenty of hot water which was nice.
