The location was by the beach with sliding room doors leading to a terrace down to the beach. The sunset/sunrise was amazing! We really appreciated the air conditioning and ample room for the family. They even had an outdoor shower.

Is cheap and comfortable, situated downtown, close to the main Port authorities, and close to Arcellor and Port entrances. It has even a TV (I didn't use it), and the WiFi seems to work well.

Facing the beachfront, Hotel Brisas de Verano offers 4-star accommodation in San Juan de Alima and features an outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace. This is an out of the way, little family run hotel. We liked it for just that reason. It's right on the beach and there are opportunities to see Tortugas at night and possibly hatched babies working their way to the ocean. There is a small restaurant with a sufficient menu and plenty of beer. Unfortunately, it closes at 5:00 so be sure to plan ahead. The room was a very basic but clean Mexican style room. We had plenty of hot water which was nice.

City Express Lázaro Cárdenas has free Wi-Fi, a gym and free breakfast. Situated 10 minutes’ walk from Lázaro city centre and port, it offers free parking and free transport within 10 km. Breakfast was exceptional. Room service was good. Everything else was great!
