Faloe Hostel poskytuje pokoje v destinaci Kota Kinabalu. Jen 1,8 km odtud se nachází Filipino Market Sabah a Sabah State Museum & Heritage Village je 4,1 km daleko. This is a jewel-hostel! It has beautiful, comfortable and clean installations. The bed seem hotel beds even in the dorms, and there is a great space to cook and hang out with other travelers. The staff, especially Lia, are helpful with everything from daily questions about KK to travel plans all over Sabah. We are definitely coming back before leaving Borneo!

Všechny pokoje v rezortu mají balkon s výhledem na moře a hory.... A complete getaway began with the boat ride across the bay to the resort. The drive to the Dragon Pearl Resort felt like we were escaping civilisation to begin with. When we stepped onto the boat the escape was complete. Three days in paradise cut off from the world beyond. The staff team were all awesome - friendly and happy to help with any question. They really made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The rooms are basic but super clean and perfect for a chilled getaway. The manager Awie really looked after us, the food was simple and delicious. The dive team gave some great advice about snorkelling (we are not divers) which allowed us to explore local reefs. Additional drinks purchases were easy and work on an honest system, which is great and adds to the chilled and trusting vibe. We loved our three days of snorkelling, kayaking and reading whilst sitting in hammocks. We’ll definitely be back to stay again. Next time we’ll even dive.

Located in Mantanani Island, GreenHouse Lodge provides accommodation with access to a garden. The property boasts reusable plastic materials, using energy-saving lighting and conserving rainwater. The best stay I’ve had in years! 🏝️This is truly a relaxing Island experience and an opportunity for you to unwind in a secluded location. Thank you Sook Peng and Fred for helping my stay feels like home! They have arranged the transfer quite seamlessly, I got picked up from the hotel early morning to the pier and then to the island. The view is truly amazing as the lodge is right in front of the sea. They have everything you need for this Island: kayaks, snorkel masks, beach mats and coconuts (and beer which is a rare commodity in the island)! Thank you Sook Peng for the wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s wonderful to enjoy a hearty home-cooked meal by the sea. I also get to taste some delicious farm-to-table vegetables they’ve grown from their aquaponics farm ♥️ I’ve enjoyed my time on the island, there’s a dive centre 5-min walk from the lodge and it’s convenient if you’d like to join a dive or two. My room is right in front of the sea with a little garden, sun lounge area and a private entrance to the beach. You’re surrounded by nature and animals, I’ve seen cats, cows, tree frogs, big green turtles and more. Just be prepared for mosquitos at night, you can spray the room before you leave for dinner, I’ve also bought a “Deep Woods” repellent and some repellent wristbands which comes in quite handy. There’s no aircon in the room but the island breeze does help, the room is well-ventilated and there’s a fan and cooling machine in the room. Truly an amazing getaway, I must come back again!

Bunga Raya Island Resort & Spa se nachází na ostrově Gaya u pobřeží Bornea a nabízí prostorné vily se soukromým balkonem. Rezort má i venkovní bazén a 3 stravovací zařízení. We had the most amazing stay at Bungaraya! The location is idyllic, the staff are the best, most wonderful people and were fantastic at helping organise a proposal 🥂. It is the ideal place to learn about the conservation efforts and get away from the world. We really liked that we couldn't get wifi in the villa as it made us disconnect and appreciate where we were more but that might not be practical for everyone. The food was delicious and fresh with a mix of local and international flavours. All in all a wonderful place and hopefully we will be back in the future! **Side note - we were lucky enough to stay at the Gayana Marine resort on the other side of the island for a few days and it was equally amazing! Very relaxed vibes, perfect if you want seclusion and watch the marine life 🐟
