The staff was amazing especially Gelai, the duty manager and Joy, Morning Catch's outlet manager. I know that the biggest factor in someone's experience is the customer service and Discovery Samal"s staff went above and beyond to give me and my family a wonderful time! Thank you all!

Me and my future wife spent 6 days here at the end of the May 2025, and we had a very pleasant surprise to be warmly welcomed here. We took a shot in the dark with this one, we just needed a remote place on Samal Island to spend a few quiet days and a hub from where to explore this amazing island, and we found more than we bargained for ! The hosts were very kind and helpful, the room had everything we needed, the food was absolutely delicious, the prices were low and affordable, we could swim in the ocean right there and it was my first time swimming in the Pacific Ocean and I got to see my first corals and blue starfish ! The host put us in contact with local ride before we got there so it was easy and cheap to get from Babak ferry to their place. Furthermore, when I wanted to rent a motorbike the host put me in contact with local dealer that provided us with a good bike for a good price and we had the chance to explore the entire island and visit the landmarks in a fashionable way, the only way to do it right on Samal :) This was a perfect stay for us, cozy and felt like home, so we thank our hosts for this lovely opportunity and we recommend this place for privacy, location with private beach and terrace overviewing the ocean, good food and warmth of hosts! We hope to return here in the future !
