Very quiet, enjoyed the pool area and nice breakfast. The location was very good, very nice restaurants right next to the hotel on the street side. Easy to rent scooters from the stores nearby.

The garden is well kept and clean. The vibes are sweet, peaceful and kind. The distance between bungalows gives privacy. At a 5 minutes walk through a garden area with a Japanese restaurant in a romantic setting, you arrive at Klong Prao beach where there are relaxing cocktail bars and restaurants, swim and watch the sunset. The main road offers many restaurants, both delicious streetfood and other options incl. Italian, Korean and Greek. There is a Buddhist Temple across the Seven Eleven. Baan Rim Klong offers the perfect central location to explore Koh Chang by scooter, which Bris rents at a very reasonable price. The Staff is very helpful and extremely kind. Situated in Ko Chang, a few steps from Kai Bae Beach, The Retreat Koh Chang, an SLH Hotel features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. Fantastic breakfast, where we could choose as much as we wanted from an a la carte menu. I guess they offered instead of a buffet as it was low season.

My bungalow had a great porch with a hammock and bench seat with lots of cushions. It was so cosy to chill there. The 2 women who run the place were very lovely and helpful.

Wish I could live in my hut and stare out to sea forever!!!! Such a peaceful spot, great food next door, and a short walk to a nice beach. Nice firm matress and super soft sheets!! Felt very relaxed. Would definitely stay again ☺️

The stuff was very kind. Breakfast was simple but good quality. The bar had a variety of drinks with reasonable prices.
