Located in San Diego and with Ocean Beach reachable within 300 metres, Samesun Ocean Beach Hotel & Hostel provides a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. Location is perfect, 3 minutes to the beach, lots of bars and restaurants all around, a grocery store opposite of the hostel, a target 5 minutes away, beach+sea is nice and calm, lots of nice and calm paths to walk around on, bus station is nearby, hostel has lots of equipment like surf boards, volley balls, etc. The people at the hostel were also great. Overall excellent. Hostel is clean. Coffee and mandarines in the morning were great, too.

Everything.. the room was big and clean with microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine.. the host was really amicable. Also, they have a surprise breakfast inclusive. Also, you get to ride bicycle for 2 hours to the pier.

I highly recommend the Inn at the Cove if you're doing the Pacific Coast Highway and looking for a stop before LA. The natural surroundings are stunning, with a private rocky beach to explore and plenty of wildlife, including beautiful birds. It's incredibly relaxing! The pool and jacuzzi were great, and breakfast was plentiful—just what you need to start the day. Nearby, there's an In-N-Out and Walmart, which made meals and shopping super convenient. The town itself is charming, and everything about our stay was perfect. The room was spacious and comfortable.
