It is a cosy family hotel. Ben and Nico & family made us feel very welcome. The room was recently renovated, and we’re glad that they kept a German touch ;) The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also very good, fresh and there was enough choice. I’m very thankful for the fresh glutenfree sandwiches I got every morning. ☺️ Upon our arrival, we received free tickets from Ben, so we were able to freely use the public transport during our whole staying. Really practical, since there is a bus stop 5 minutes walk from the hotel. And Cochem is just a 9 minutes bus ride away. Ernst was a perfect location from which we could easily travel and visit other villages allong the Moselle region. We enjoyed our vacation and will certainly come back to this hotel!

The breakfast was plentiful and of high quality. Parking was available immediately outside, very convenient.

Located in Wintrich, within 40 km of Arena Trier and 42 km of Trier Central Station, Gästehaus Föhr provides accommodation with a garden as well as free private parking for guests who drive. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. Lovely bottles of wine available at a reasonable price. The room was spacious with a great balcony and a view of the valley and vineyards. The breakfast was amazing with egg, cheeses, cold cuts, and lots of fruit. The bike path along the Mosel is very close so lots of opportunity for walking and biking. Nice restaurants close by as well.

Set in Bruttig-Fankel, within 10 km of Cochem Castle and 32 km of Castle Eltz, Moselpension Gwosch offers accommodation with a garden as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Our host was incredibly accommodating and obviously takes great pride in caring for her guests. She met us at check-in, walked us through everything, and coordinated breakfast. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for us after visiting Burg Eltz that afternoon, before making our way down the river back home. Parking is on site. There are walking paths behind the house. She gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. The downstairs is accessible for an open tab on wine and beverages after hours as well as access to the terrace with a view of the river. She served us, sat and chatted with guests during breakfast, and was just lovely in general. She also made our children hot chocolate in the morning, which she joked was the best in Germany- but my kids actually said it was the best they'd had! Situated within 18 km of Trier Theatre and 19 km of Cathedral Trier in Ayl, Weingut Raevenhof provides accommodation with seating area. The hostess was a ray of sunshine. The breakfast was lovely. The place is super clean and tidy. Easy to park and very well located on the way from the south west to the north of Germany.

Offering inner courtyard views, Bleibe in der Brandgasse is an accommodation set in Alken, 23 km from Castle Alte Burg Koblenz and 23 km from Münzplatz. The location was perfect. Breakfast was not provided but this was reflected in the price so it was good value for money. Local supermarket and a takeaway close by as well as restaurants.

Really nice and quiet studio apartment in the middle of the village. We had wine tasting and bought good wines of the house. Breakfast was excellent and the owner is very kind. There are good restaurants in a short walk, but nearest supermarket is in the next village.

One of the best place to stay if looking for short break. Clean, great location, exceptional service and experience. In overall outstanding place by all means, staff/ facility /comfort / and even in this period of year with amazing view – it was exactly what I was looking for. For sure I will come back again!
