This charming 18th-century guest house is an ideal base for visiting the medieval city of Carcassonne. It offers individually-decorated rooms and a floral garden with a pond and a shaded terrace. Friendly welcome, provided assistance with luggage upstairs. Close to the old cité, uphill walk but not too steep. Nice pool with areas to sit around. Breakfast was very good both days we stayed. Restaurants close by for dinner or up in the cité.

A very friendly and gentle host who made his guests feel at home from the moment they arrived. The location is perfect especially if you are walking the famous Robert Louis Stevenson Way. Definitively a place to remember and revisit ! Thank you Romain for the exceptional hospitality !

The place was exceptionally clean, very comfortable, and beautifully designed. Everything felt well thought-out, making the stay relaxing and enjoyable. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. Highly recommended!

We had an exceptional stay in this luxurious home. The hosts were absolutely wonderful, helpful, and clearly attentive to every detail, offering a level of hospitality tailored for high-end guests. The property was stunning, with new, high quality furnishings and tasteful decor that created a refined and welcoming atmosphere. Sculptures, vases, and design accents throughout the house added to its charm and elegance (perfect for this part of France). The hosts also provided excellent recommendations for exploring the Cote d’Azur, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, style, and top service.

Situated in Canet-en-Roussillon in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, Chambre 1er étage has a balcony. I love this place! There is absolutely nothing to complain about! It's a converted residence with one ground floor room and 3 more up a winding staircase. It's a perfect combination of private room and hostel-style interaction with other guests. Owner, Pascal, single-handedly does all the work, keeping the place very clean and tidy. He speaks adequate English. At 25€ (single, mid-May, no breakfast), it's an outstanding value, too. I enjoyed it so much I stayed 3 nights. When there was no availability on the 2nd night, Pascal gave me his room.The four rooms share two bathrooms, half and three-quarter. There is a full shared kitchen/lounge, including an oven and cooking equipment, suitable for preparing full meals. Wi-fi is excellent. There is a constant supply of coffee and tea, a generous set of herbs and spices, ice cubes, and garden lemons. The description says towels and linens cost extra. This is true for towels but linens are included. The rear surroundings are lushly green and the residential street is very quiet. There is a small balcony for smoking or sitting and the large front yard has tables and chairs. There is ample, free street parking. Shopping and the beach are a long walk away, but there is good bus service. Guests should be aware that the rooms do not have external locks so they're accessible when not occupied but I had absolutely no sense of theft danger. If you. like me, don't like standard hotels, this place is for you!

Great host to provide us touring info. Beautiful breakfast setup on patio with water viewing; Easy parking just across the street on a parking lot. After breakfast easy stroll of town center, River/canal/park just behind the property. Great value!

Villa Romana provides accommodation within 400 metres of the centre of Saint-Tropez, with free WiFi, and a kitchenette with a microwave, a fridge and a minibar. Catherine was amazing. The property is very well maintained and located in the heart of Saint Tropez close to everything. The breakfast was delicious

Super nice, helpful and welcoming hosts! Beautiful village with some great restaurants nearby. Strongly recommend!

Featuring a terrace and views of mountain, La Maison Joly is a recently renovated bed and breakfast located in Ménerbes, 30 km from Parc des Expositions Avignon. Staying in the historic house inherited by Vincent felt like stepping into a fairy tale. Surrounded by art, books, and the quiet beauty of Provence, we were immersed in a world shaped by generations. Severine and Vincent were kind, attentive, and welcoming. At our small suggestion, they even added an iron to the room to improve our comfort—an example of their care and thoughtfulness. Of course, staying in a home with such history can come with small inconveniences, but if you arrive with an open heart, the experience becomes truly delightful. It’s authentic, rich in character, and offers a rare glimpse into the preservation of a meaningful family legacy. For a few days, we were grateful to be part of that story.

Featuring a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and views of mountain, L'enthousiasme is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Prades, 47 km from Stade Gilbert Brutus. Beautiful room with a mountain view, very comfortable beds, nice bathroom, friendly hosts. Felt like home. :)
