The room was spacious and had a very good view of a small stream. The amenities were excellent. The bathroom fittings are exceptional and modern which are not a common sighting in Europe. The place is at walking distance from the railway station and the main market area. The host, Ian, is very friendly.

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. We loved our stay here!! We were very well welcomed. Beautiful warm rooms with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. Super great location.

The Westbourne is a beautiful guest house set in the peaceful area below Biskey Howe in the Lake District. Bedrooms feature walk-in-shower rooms, luxurious toiletries and large fluffy towels. amazing location. Wonderful breakfast. rooms are big enough and modern. The hotel is walking distance from the city center. new owners. will definitely come back.

A great village inn - service (Chloe) fantastic, atmosphere encouraged interaction between guests, really good beer on tap and then an excellent breakfast. Room was comfortable and quiet. A perfect end to our UK holiday!
