Recently refurbished so everything was brand new and done with great taste and care. Very nice room and en-suite bathroom and lovely continental breakfast spread with lots of choice. They also catered for my gluten-free wife which was great. The host was extremely friendly and attentive and looked after any requests we had.

The location is pretty and it’s easy to get to many of the beautiful things to see in the New Forest, especially ponies and the car museum. Whilst the cottage isn’t huge it’s very comfortable. The shower is amazing! Our host was welcoming, helpful and provided tasty things to make our own breakfast. We particularly loved the horses being our “neighbors “. Definitely recommend.

The rooms are so constructed that you are given to believe that the WHOLE PROPERTY is dedicated for you. In our stay, we did not see anyone else, except the hosts. The hosts are so eager to help, and went out of the way to make us comfortable. We had an early morning start one of the days, so they prepared some special breakfast for us the previous night and kept it in our in-room refrigerator! Food was delicious, fruits and veggies were fresh as ever!

It was so lovely to meet John and Steph, a real delight. It was great the get some history of the area and excellent recommendations for walks and places to eat. As the other reviews said, the breakfast was also a highlight of our stay. So delicious! And watching the birds whilst having breakfast was just joyful. A real gem of a place, thoroughly recommended to everyone.
