Had a wonderful 3 night stay at the The Bittescombe Inn, the room and pub are everything you could want, recently refurbished but without losing any of it's 'country pub' charm. We were made very welcome and joined the locals on Monday night for Venison courtesy of a local farmer, a lovely atmosphere full of fun and great food. The location of the inn is perfect for getting away and spending time on Exmoor, quiet walks and beautiful scenery, the perfect escape....Only about 30 minutes drive from the beautiful coast line of Minehead and Porlock (which also had some lovely pubs for lunch!).....Thank you Mark, we'll be back to visit again soon I hope :)

A very warm welcome from Tina who gave us great advice re eating locally. Our bedroom was spacious very comfortable and had a great en suite. The whole house is spotlessly clean and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast.

Situated in the garden of a home, it's updated to a high, tasteful standard, with new everything! The owners had fresh artisan bread and diet-restriction-friendly options for our breakfast waiting for us, with jams and butters and milks and juices. Toaster, microwave, fridge, sink, all were in great working order and made for a lovely breakfast for us before we started out again on our walk. There is a pub a few steps outside the door, but there was no noise at all from it in the evening. The windows overlook the churchyard behind the cottage, the owners graciously shared their clothesline with me so I could dry my hiking clothes, and their dogs are lovely! A truly luxurious spot on the Two Moors Way!

Pilgrims of the Goddess se nachází v destinaci Glastonbury a nabízí zahradu, nekuřácké ubytování a bezplatné Wi-Fi. Jen 40 km odtud je Longleat Safari Park. Jde o dřevěnou chatku v zahradě, no níž se vstupuje přes dům,kde jsou prostory,které lze sdílet (kuchyň, posezení). Vše má velmi příjemnou romantickou atmosféru, mnoho zajímavých a milých detailů. Koupelna se záchodem a sprchou je privátní, ale stojící samostatně v zahradě, takže v chladném počasí a za deště se nám do ní moc nechtělo( není vytápěná). Pokoj byl velmi dobře vytopený. Velmi blízko na hlavní ulici plnou krámků.

Maplestone se nachází v destinaci Shepton Mallet a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi, zahradu s terasou a výhled do zahrady. Longleat Safari Park se nachází 25 km daleko a Vlakové nádraží Bath Spa 29 km. Very warm welcome from our host who was impeccable. Gorgeous old house and garden, tastefully and beautifully decorated and a delight to stay in. Our large room was extremely comfortable with a lovely bed, good bathroom and spotlessly clean. Generous and delicious breakfast of the highest standard as was the tea and coffee in the room. What a gem of a place.!

Very nice accommodation with an ensuite bathroom, king size bed which was very comfortable. Kettle in the room with tea, coffee milk etc and a TV. There was also an upstairs lounge available for guests with 2 armchairs and a TV which we didn't use. Breakfast was included with a selection of cereals, toast, yogurts, fruit juice, coffee, tea, chocolate. Driveway available for parking. There were local shops in the town which were a walkable distance.
