We had the most amazing stay at the beautiful Nuevo Sol in San Juan. The room was very tidy and clean, the bed was great, the garden was a beautiful oasis of tranquillity and flowers, and the communal kitchen was greatly equipped. Most of all, our hosts Feliciana and Carolina were some of the kindest people we met on our journey. They immediately made us feel at home and answered all our questions about the town and restaurants. Muchas gracias!

Located in a more quiet part of San Pedro both restaurants and shop was close by. The host Melissa was fantastic making breakfast each morning at 8 AM and could answer any question you might have whether things to do in San Pedro or how to get to the other small towns around the lake. I stayed in the dorm, which was a large room with two bunk beds sharing the bathroom with some of the private rooms. Everything was clean. Thank you Melissa for providing such a wonderful stay in San Pedro.

We had just finished our 3 day hike from Xela and you could tell he was even trying to make sure the room was ready asap for us. He even prints out a little sign welcoming you which is such a nice touch. The terrace is lovely and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is just a short walk out of town and has a more local feel.
